You’ve tried. Of course you have. But some of this stuff doesn’t live in the part of your brain that responds to effort and logic. It’s deeper than that. It’s in patterns you didn’t pick and can’t seem to reason your way out of.

You just haven’t had the right way in yet.

The light behind the shadow

I did caregiving for years.

You see a lot in that work. What people carry, what comes out when they’re not putting on a face. I loved it. It also burned me out.

So I get it when someone says they’ve been pouring into everyone else and forgot to keep anything for themselves. That’s not something I read about. That was my life.

I found hypnotherapy through Brian Weiss, a psychiatrist who accidentally stumbled into past life regression and wrote a bunch of books about it. I read those and thought, I want to do that. Then I found out hypnotherapy covers way more than just past life work, and I was all in.

Here’s the thing — most people have never actually met a hypnotist. We’re kind of like astronauts. You know we exist, but you’ve probably never sat across from one. So if this feels unfamiliar, that’s okay.

I got into this because I’ve been on the other side of it. I know what it feels like to need somebody who’s not going to judge you or rush you or make you perform being okay. That’s the practice I’m building. And you’re always welcome here.

What hypnotherapy actually isIt’s not what you think.

And that’s the problem with getting people to try it. Most people hear “hypnosis” and picture somebody making a stranger cluck like a chicken on stage. That’s entertainment. This is the opposite.

Hypnotherapy is just a way of working with your subconscious mind. That’s the part of you that runs the patterns. The habits you can’t break with willpower. The self-talk you know isn’t true but can’t seem to stop. The reactions that don’t match the situation. Your conscious brain already knows better. That’s not the part that needs help.

In a session, you’re awake the whole time. You’re aware. It’s a do-with process, not a do-to. I’m not doing something to you while you lie there. We’re working together.

People tell me they feel lighter. I think what they mean is they stopped fighting themselves so hard.

Here’s what happens when you reach out.

We have a conversation. You tell me what’s going on, I tell you how I work, and we figure out if it’s a good fit. That’s it. I’m not going to try to sell you anything.

If we decide to work together, we figure out what you actually need and start there. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all hypnosis. While I use a variety of techniques and approaches, our work together will be shaped around your unique needs and experiences.

The only thing I’ll ask is that you show up willing. I’ll guide you, but the shifts happen because you do the work. That’s the deal.
